2. We then retrieved the genomic sequence encoding SpurP128 and BLATed it. There is a single bp difference in the alignment between the genomic sequence encoding SpurP128 and SpurP129. So, is it an allelic sequence?&lt;br /&gt;

3. We then retrieved the genomic sequence encoding SpurP128 with flanking regions, the full sequence of Scaffold44006, which is only 868 bp long (see below). We BLATed the sequence and found it aligned to Scaffold68504 (encoding SpurP129) with a high coverage and 89.9% sequence identity, which indicated SpurP128 and SpurP129 are two different genes.
