Phosphatase Classification: Fold PPPL
PPPL stands for PPP Like. It has single superfamily PPPL.
The fold is used to name as MTDP, standing for MeTallo-Dependent Phosphatases, by referring to Pfam family Metallophos. But, this is not a clear naming, since the phosphatases of PPM fold also require metal ion for catalytic activity.
