Phosphatase Subfamily TFC7
From PhosphataseWiki
Phosphatase Classification: Fold HP: Superfamily HP (histidine phosphatase): HP, branch1 family: TFC7
TFC7 subfamily is found in both fungi and Dictyostellium. Budding yeast has two copies due to duplication, including TFC7 and YNL108C.
TFC7 is a RNA pol III transcription initiation factor complex (TFIIIC) subunit [1, 2]. In contrast, YNL108C may be involved in glucose metabolism (see SGD).
