Unusual domain combination of uncertain origin. If the common ancestor of Dictyostelium and opisthokonta has rhodanese domain, it is lost in Dictystelium; otherwise, it is gained in opisthokonta.
The full sequence hit Dictyosteliida order, and some protists (Naegleria gruberi, Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, Tetrahymena thermophila). The domain is closest to animal DUSP2, DUSP1, DUSP14.
