Phosphatase Classification: Superfamily HAD: Family MDP1
MDP1 is the only human member of this family. It has been reported as a putative tyrosine phosphatase [1]. However, a later study reported that it is a protein-fructosamine-6-phosphatase potentially involved in glycation repair [2].
