Evolution
The DCR2 subfamily is found in most fungi, most plants and a few chromalveolates.
Domain Structure
DCR2 has a single phosphatase domain.
Function
DCR2 dephosphorylates Ire1, a conserved endoplasmic reticulum transmembrane UPR sensor in Saccharomyces cerevisiae [1].
