Phosphatase Classification: Fold CC1: Superfamily CC1: Family PTP: Subfamily SpurPTP-sf4

SpurPTP-sf4 is a receptor tyrosine phosphatase subfamily first seen in the sea urchin Strongylocentrotus purpuratus.

Evolution

SpurPTP-sf3 has 3 members, all found in the sea urchin, S. purpuratus.

Domain Structure

All members are receptor PTPs, with an array of extracellular FN3 repeats, and intracellular twin PTP phosphatase domains.

Functions

SpurPTP-sf4 is known only from sequence databases and has no known function.
