Evolution

The PPP7C subfamily is found in eumetazoa and Placozoa Trichoplax adhaerens, but it is not present in sponge.

Domain

PPP7Cs typically have a domain combination of IQ motif, TPR structural motif, PPP phosphatase domain, and tandem EF hand structural motifs.
