Phosphatase Classification: Fold MTDP:Superfamily MTDP: Family PAP: DCR2

Evolution

The DCR2 subfamily is found in most fungi, most plants and a few chromalveolata.

Domain Structure

DCR2 has a single phosphatase domain.

Function

DCR2 dephosphorylated inositol requirement 1 (Ire1), an endoplasmic reticulum transmembrane UPR sensor in Saccharomyces cerevisiae [1].
