Phosphatase Classification: Fold HAD: Superfamily HAD
Families
The HAD (HaloAcid Dehalogenase) superfamily contains many different hydrolase enzymes, including three with reported protein phosphatase activity [1, 2]:
Note: The MDP1 family has been removed from the protein phosphatome, because it has been confirmed as a protein-fructosamine-6-phosphatase.
Unclassifed HADs
- Yeast SER2 is a putative protein serine phosphatase [3]. It does not belong to any family above.
