Phosphatase Classification: Fold HAD: Superfamily HAD

The HAD (HaloAcid Dehalogenase) superfamily contains an array of different hydrolase enzymes, including several that are known to have protein phosphatase or other phosphatase activites [1, 2]. The following HAD families have reported protein phosphatase activity:

  • MDP1 family has been removed from protein phosphatase, because it is protein-fructosamine-6-phosphatase evidenced by experimental assays.
